Ian leads a team that is responsible for the operational management of Energy infrastructure at Dublin Airport. Building on a career in construction Ian has been at the airport for over 10 years covering all energy efficiency, carbon, environmental and Asset Management elements of the infrastructure at Dublin Airport. Focus on the policy, strategy, and development of infrastructure for the electrification of transport and heat at the airport campus is now a primary function.
With the objective of providing adequate charging infrastructure for the daa maintenance and bus fleets to electric along with allowing provision for 3rd party airside vehicles, taxis, car hire and public use at the campus the challenge includes network distribution and management, charging infrastructure, billing systems and monitoring.
