As Head of the Transport Decarbonisation Unit for the department for infrastructure, I play a pivotal role in leading efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector. I collaborate across governments, with government departments in NI, local councils, and industry to ensure coordinated action on the decarbonisation of Northern Irelands transport aligning with our commitments in the Climate Change Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 and promoting the transition to zero-emission vehicles.
