Alba Mullen is an environmental economist with cross-sector experience in climate policy, sustainable finance, and energy market design. As Policy & Commercial Development Lead at the Low Carbon Contracts Company, she develops financial mechanisms that unlock investment in low-carbon energy solutions and support the transition to net zero.
Her career spans government, academia, and the private sector, including roles at the European Commission, Ireland’s Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, and the Grantham Research Institute. Most recently as a consultant with Longevity Partners, Alba supported real estate clients in leveraging sustainable finance policy to reshape investment strategies and manage climate-related risks.
Alba holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the LSE and a BA in PPES from Trinity College Dublin. She is also a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion, working with Generation Climate Europe on textile policy and sharing insights online at @Traashion.
