Dan Catanase leads electrification strategy at ESB Networks, driving initiatives to support widespread electric vehicle adoption across Ireland’s electricity network. An experienced electrical engineer, he has played a key role in adapting standards, refining processes, and implementing trials to ensure the network meets the demands of a low-carbon transport sector.
Dan also contributes at the European level through E.DSO, chairing and co-chairing working groups on e-mobility, helping shape collaborative approaches and policy frameworks to support the electromobility transition across Europe.
