Mark Woods is the Chief Supply Chain Officer with The Maxol Group. The Maxol Group, consisting of three key companies Maxol Limited, Maxol Oil Limited and Maxol Lubricants Limited, enjoys a market leadership presence across the 32 counties of Ireland. With operations spanning retail, distribution and storage within the commercial and domestic marketplace the organisation is proud of its exceptional brand and reputation in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Reporting to the main board, Mark is responsible for the effective management of all aspects of operations, logistics, storage and safe transportation of products together with the significant capital and operational spend associated with these activities.
As well as his role as Chief Supply Chain Officer Mark is very active in the area of Future Fuels and is responsible for developing the Groups thinking on the emergence of alternatives such as Bio Fuels, Electric and Hydrogen powered vehicles. In addition to the technical evolution of these technologies Mark is keenly interested in the various national and EU policies promoting these alternatives.
Mark represents The Group on various industry bodies including Fuels for Ireland and is a Board Member of SIMI.
