Karen Moore is an Assistant Principal Officer at LWETB, bringing over 15 years of expertise within the Further Education and Training (FET) sector. Her extensive experience spans an additional decade across both public and private industries in the UK market, allowing her to develop a versatile skill set. Karen’s career is distinguished by her expertise in areas such as teaching, programme validation, health and safety, systems and process development, as well as quality assurance and policy development. A key highlight of her professional journey includes her leadership role in overseeing the Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Inaugural Review—a pivotal project that underscored her ability to manage complex, high-impact initiatives. In her current role, Karen is the LWETB lead on the development of a National eMobility Capability Centre, acting as Project Lead Officer, steering a Technical Feasibility Study on the viability of an eMobility Capability Centre for the transport sector.
